This notice advises the public that the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as lead agency intends to gather information necessary for preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in connection with the Ho-Chunk Nation (Nation) application for a proposed 33-acre fee-to-trust transfer and casino project to be located in the City of Beloit, Rock County, Wisconsin. This notice also announces a public scoping meeting to identify potential issues and content for inclusion in the EIS.

This notice publishes Jackson Rancheria's Tribal Council Ordinance No. 2012-01Sale, Consumption & Possession of Alcoholic Beverages at the Jackson Rancheria. The Ordinance regulates and controls the sale, consumption and possession of liquor within the Jackson Rancheria's Indian country. This Ordinance will increase the ability of the tribal government to control the distribution and possession of liquor within its Indian country and at the same time will provide an important source of revenue and strengthening of the tribal government and the delivery of tribal services.
