Osage Negotiated Rulemaking Committee
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. Appendix 2, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Osage Negotiated Rulemaking Committee will meet as indicated below.
Land Acquisitions: Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians
The Secretary of the Interior (Secretary) accepted the transfer of approximately 163.48 acres from the Director, Real Property Division, Atlanta Regional Office, U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), without reimbursement, to be held in trust for the benefit and use of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Choctaw Reservation, Mississippi (Tribe). This notice announces that the Secretary took the approximately 162.48 acres into trust for the Tribe on the dates set forth in this notice.
Rate Adjustments for Indian Irrigation Projects
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) owns or has an interest in irrigation projects located on or associated with various Indian reservations throughout the United States. We are required to establish irrigation assessment rates to recover the costs to administer, operate, maintain, and rehabilitate these projects. We request your comments on the proposed rate adjustments.

The Assistant SecretaryIndian Affairs made a final agency determination to acquire approximately 468.39 acres of land into trust for the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation (MHA Nation) on October 10, 2012.
Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community-Liquor Ordinance To Allow for On-Sale Liquor Transactions
This notice publishes the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux CommunityLiquor Ordinance to Allow for On-Sale Liquor Transactions (Ordinance). The Ordinance regulates and controls the sale, consumption and possession of liquor within the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community's Indian country. This Ordinance will increase the ability of the tribal government to control the distribution and possession of liquor within its Indian country and at the same time will provide an important source of revenue and strengthening of the tribal government and the delivery of tribal services.
Preparation of the 2013 American Indian Population and Labor Force Report
Indian Affairs will conduct two informational sessions and four leader-to-leader sessions with Indian tribes to obtain oral and written comments concerning preparation of the 2013 American Indian Population and Labor Force Report.
Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Proposed Pueblo of Jemez 70.277-Acre Fee-to-Trust Transfer and Casino Project, Doña Ana County, NM
This notice announces that the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as lead agency, in cooperation with the Pueblo of Jemez, intends to cancel all work on an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the BIA Federal action of approving a 70.277 acre fee-to-trust transfer and casino project located within Do[ntilde]a Ana County, New Mexico.
Heating, Cooling, and Lighting Standards for Bureau-Funded Dormitory Facilities
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is confirming the interim final rule published and effective on May 24, 2012, addressing heating, cooling, and lighting standards for Bureau-funded dormitory facilities. This rule was developed through negotiated rulemaking, as required by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The May 24, 2012, publication stated that the BIA would review comments on the interim final rule and either confirm the rule or initiate a proposed rulemaking. BIA did not receive any adverse comments, and therefore confirms the rule without change.
Preliminary Plan for Distribution of Judgment Funds to the Loyal Mdewakantons
The Department of the Interior is developing a plan for distribution of judgment funds to the Loyal Mdewakantons if funds are appropriated in satisfaction of a final judgment. The distribution plan includes a determination of the criteria for eligibility to participate in any award.
