Aging Administration 2011 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

The Administration on Aging is announcing the intent to provide supplemental grant funds for the support of the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program. The goal of this supplemental grant funding is to address the increased need of SMP project grantees for technical assistance and support from the National Consumer Protection Technical Resource Center (the Center). This need has been generated by CMS program expansion grants which have recently doubled the size of the SMP program.

The Administration on Aging (AoA) is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (the PRA), Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of an existing collection of information, and to allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. This notice solicits comments on the information collection requirements relating to the Certification on Maintenance of Effort under Title III and Certification of Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program Expenditures for OAA Title III and Title VII Grantees.
