The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), as part of its continuing efforts to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing information collections, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on the proposed request to extend the information collect project titled ``Assessment of Chemical Exposures (ACE) Investigations.'' The purpose of ACE Investigations is to focus on performing rapid epidemiological assessments to assist state, regional, local, or tribal health departments (the requesting agencies) to respond to or prepare for acute chemical releases.
Availability of Draft Toxicological Profiles: Antimony; 2,4-D; Molybdenum; Silica
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announces the availability of Toxicological Profiles for review and comment. All toxicological profiles issued as ``Drafts for Public Comment'' represent ATSDR's best efforts to provide important toxicological information on priority hazardous substances. ATSDR is seeking public comments and additional information or reports on studies about the health effects of these four substances for review and potential inclusion in the profiles. Although ATSDR considers key studies for these substances during the profile development process, this document solicits any relevant, additional studies. ATSDR will evaluate the quality and relevance of such data or studies for possible inclusion into the profile. ATSDR remains committed to providing a public comment period for these documents as a means to best serve public health and the public.
Proposed Substances To Be Evaluated for Set 31 Toxicological Profiles
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is initiating the development of its 31st set of toxicological profiles (Set 31). Today's announcement invites voluntary public nominations of substances for profile development. ATSDR is soliciting public nominations of substances found on the Substance Priority List (SPL) at https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/spl.

This notice invites comment on ``Cognition, Behavior, and Caregiver Burden in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).'' Measures of ALS severity, cognition, mood and behavior, and caregiver burden will be completed by telephone and by mail.

This notice invites comment on the information collection request titled ``APPLETREE Performance Measures.'' Under the APPLETREE cooperative agreement program (Funding Opportunity Announcement No. CDC-RFA-TS17-1701), awardees will be required to submit an Annual Plan of Work (APOW), several standardized outcome and performance measures, and an Annual Performance Report (APR).

This notice invites comment on ``Biomonitoring of Great Lakes Populations Program III.'' The purpose of the proposed study is to evaluate body burden levels of priority contaminants in Great Lakes residents, particularly those who are at high exposure risk, in the Milwaukee Bay Estuary Area of Concern (AOC) area that was not previously addressed in ATSDR's previous biomonitoring programs around the Great Lakes.
