Information Collection; Improving Customer Experience (OMB Circular A-11, Section 280 Implementation)
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, is announcing an opportunity for public comment on a new proposed collection of information by the Agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), Federal Agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, and to allow 30 days for public comment in response to the notice. This notice solicits comments on a renewal collection proposed by the Agency.
U.S. Agency for International Development Acquisition Regulation; Administrative Updates: Correction
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is issuing this final rule revising the Agency for International Development Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR) to maintain consistency with Federal and agency regulations, remove obsolete material and internal agency procedures, and make editorial amendments to clarify the regulation.
Notice of Malaria Vaccine Development Program Scientific Advisory Committee Re-Establishment
Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby given of the re-establishment of the USAID Malaria Vaccine Development Program (MVDP) Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) (previously the USAID Advisory Committee of the Malaria Vaccine Program). The USAID MVDP SAC is an external scientific committee that reviews and provides strategic advice to the USAID MVDP once or twice annually. The Administrator of USAID is re-establishing the committee for two years, effective on the date of filing of its renewed charter.
Request for Information Regarding the Global AI Research Agenda; Extension of Comment Period
On March 13, 2024, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) published a request for information (RFI) seeking comment on a Global AI Research Agenda being developed on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence. The RFI established a April 10, 2024, deadline for the submission of written comments. DOE is extending the comment period to April 24, 2024.
Information Collection Review Request for OMB Approval: BHA Workplace Culture Survey
USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) proposes to survey all members of its workforce to assess and gauge its processes for developing and improving a more cohesive BHA culture. This survey is also sent to institutional support contractors (ISCs), which are part of the USAID workforce but are members of the public for purposes of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA). USAID/BHA invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the following new information collection as it relates to ISCs, as required by the PRA. Written comments and recommendations for the proposed information collection should be sent within 30 days of publication of this notice to www.reginfo.gov/public/ do/PRAMain.
