The TVA Regional Energy Resource Council (RERC) will hold a meeting on Wednesday, January 20 and Thursday, January 21, 2016, regarding regional energy related issues in the Tennessee Valley. The RERC was established to advise TVA on its energy resource activities and the priorities among competing objectives and values. Notice of this meeting is given under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5 U.S.C. App. 2. The meeting agenda includes the following: 1. Welcome and Introductions 2. Update of RERC First Term Key Advice 3. Public Comments 4. TVA's Integrated Resource Plan Direction, Indicators, and Evolving Market Place 5. Overview of Coal Combustion Residuals and Draft Environmental Impact Statement 6. Council Discussion and Advice The RERC will hear opinions and views of citizens by providing a public comment session starting at 3:30 p.m. CST on Wednesday, January 20. Persons wishing to speak are requested to register at the door by 3:15 p.m. CST on Wednesday, January 20 and will be called on during the public comment period. Handout materials should be limited to one printed page. This survey is used to locate, for monitoring purposes, rural residents, home gardens, and milk animals within a five mile radius of a nuclear power plant. The Land use survey is performed once per year. TVA uses the Land use survey data for their effluent annual report to the NRC normally in April every year. The proposed information collection described below will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at, oira_submission@omb.eop.gov, for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35, as amended). Integrated Resource Plan

This notice is provided in accordance with the Council on Environmental Quality's regulations (40 CFR 1500 to 1508) and TVA's procedures for implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). TVA has decided to adopt the preferred alternative in its final supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS) for the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The notice of availability (NOA) of the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Integrated Resource Plan was published in the Federal Register on July 17, 2015. The TVA Board of Directors approved the IRP and authorized staff to implement the preferred alternative at its August 21, 2015 meeting. This alternative, the Target Power Supply Mix, will guide TVA's selection of energy resource options to meet the energy needs of the Tennessee Valley region over the next 20 years. The energy resource options include new nuclear, natural gas-fired and renewable generation, increased energy efficiency and demand reduction, and decreased coal- fired generation.

This notice is provided in accordance with the Council on Environmental Quality's regulations (40 CFR 1500 to 1508) and TVA's procedures for implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). On November 15, 2012, the TVA Board of Directors declared 1,000 acres of the Muscle Shoals Reservation (MSR) in Colbert County, Alabama, to be surplus to TVA's needs and authorized the sale of such acreage at public auction, thereby adopting the preferred alternative in TVA's final environmental impact statement (EIS) for the redevelopment of a portion of the MSR. The ROD documenting this decision was published on September 16, 2013 (78 FR 56980). The notice of availability (NOA) of the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Muscle Shoals Reservation Redevelopment was published in the Federal Register on November 18, 2011. A component of the preferred alternative was the publication of a Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP) to guide development of the surplus MSR property. On March 26, 2015, TVA's Senior Vice President of Economic Development approved the CMP contemplated in TVA's final EIS.

In accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(4), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is republishing in full a notice of the existence and character of each TVA system of records. In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the TVA is providing notice that it is retiring one system of records notice, TVA-8, Employee Alleged Misconduct Investigatory Files, from its inventory because the records are no longer relevant and have been disposed of in accordance with regular retention and disposal schedules. See appendix A. TVA has transitioned from The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to a new application, People Lifestyle Unified System (PLUS), which is reflected in TVA's current SORN's submission. TVA is correcting minor typographical and stylistic errors in previously existing notices and has updated those notices to reflect current organizational structure. Also, updates are being made to show any changes to system locations; managers and addresses; categories of individuals and records; procedures and practices for storing, retrieving, accessing, retaining, and disposing of records.
