Removal of International Money Transfer Service-Outbound and International Money Transfer Service-Inbound
On July 12, 2024, the Postal ServiceTM published notice of international product changes concerning the requests by the Postal Service for classification changes filed at the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) about International Money Transfer ServiceOutbound and International Money Transfer ServiceInbound. On August 9, 2024, the PRC favorably reviewed the classification changes, which have an effective date of October 1, 2024, for International Money Transfer ServiceOutbound, and an effective date of October 1, 2025, for International Money Transfer ServiceInbound. Therefore, the Postal Service is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM[supreg]), to reflect the discontinuation of International Money Transfer ServiceOutbound, effective October 1, 2024, and the discontinuation of International Money Transfer ServiceInbound, effective October 1, 2025. Notice 123, Price List, will be updated accordingly.
