Subject 60-Day Notice for the “Participant Outcomes Survey for the Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network Community Arts Engagement Subgranting Program;” Proposed Collection; Comment Request
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a preclearance consultation program to provide the general public and federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This program helps to ensure that requested data is provided in the desired format; reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized; collection instruments are clearly understood; and the impact of collection requirements on respondents is properly assessed. Subject 30-Day Notice of a Tribal Consultation Meeting
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is an independent federal agency whose funding helps to support cultural programs nationwide. Established in 1965, the NEA's operating budget in FY20 was $162 million, which is utilized in the form of project and partnership grants, special initiatives, and honorific fellowships to support arts learning, affirm and celebrate America's rich and diverse cultural heritage, and to extend and promote equal access to the arts in every community. On April 7, 2021, the NEA convened a Tribal Consultation with the goal of developing a formal Tribal Consultation Policy. The draft policy will be the basis of our August 10 consultation call.
