National Archives and Records Administration August 2007 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

NARA is giving public notice that the agency proposes to request extension of a currently approved information collection consisting of National Archives Trust Fund (NATF) Order Forms for Genealogical Research in the National Archives. The NATF forms included in this information collection are: NATF 81, National Archives Order for Copies of Ship Passenger Arrival Records; NATF 82, National Archives Order of Copies of Census Schedules; NATF 83, National Archives Order for Copies of Eastern Cherokee Applications; NATF 84, National Archives Order for Copies of Land Entry Files; NATF 85, National Archives Order for Copies of Pension or Bounty Land Warrant Applications; and NATF 86, National Archives Order for Copies of Military Service Records. The public is invited to comment on the proposed information collections pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.

NARA is revising its fees for reproduction of records and other materials in the custody of the Archivist of the United States. This rule covers reproduction of Federal records created by other agencies that are in the National Archives of the United States, donated historical materials, Presidential records, Nixon Presidential historical materials, and records filed with the Office of the Federal Register. The fees are being changed to reflect current costs of providing the reproductions. This rule will affect the public and Federal agencies.

NARA is giving public notice that the agency proposes to request use of a voluntary survey of museum visitors at each Presidential library. The information will provide feedback about our visitors' experiences at the libraries. The public is invited to comment on the proposed information collection pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
