Notice of Entering Into a Compact With the Republic of Zambia
In accordance with the provisions of the Millennium Challenge Act of 2003, as amended, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is publishing a summary of the Millennium Challenge Compact (Compact) between the United States of America and the Republic of Zambia. Representatives of the United States of America and the Republic of Zambia executed the Compact on October 17, 2024. Notice of Open Meeting
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Advisory Council was established as a discretionary advisory committee on July 14, 2016. Its charter was most recently renewed for a fifth term on July 5, 2024. The MCC Advisory Council serves MCC solely in an advisory capacity and provides insight regarding innovations in infrastructure, technology, and sustainability; perceived risks and opportunities in MCC partner countries; new financing mechanisms for developing country contexts; and shared value approaches. The MCC Advisory Council provides a platform for systematic engagement with the private sector and other external stakeholders and contributes to MCC's mission to reduce poverty through sustainable economic growth.

In accordance with the provisions of the Millennium Challenge Act of 2003, as amended, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is publishing a summary of the Millennium Challenge Compact (Compact) between the United States of America and the Republic of Sierra Leone. Representatives of the United States of America and the Republic of Sierra Leone executed the Compact on September 27, 2024. Renewal of the MCC Economic Advisory Council and Call for Nominations
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Millennium Challenge Corporation ("MCC") has renewed the charter for the MCC Economic Advisory Council ("EAC") and is hereby soliciting representative nominations for the 2024-2026 term. The EAC serves MCC in an advisory capacity only and provides insight to sharpen MCC's analytical capacity and ensure continued expertise on relevant issues related to economic development. The EAC provides a platform for engagement with economic development and evaluation experts and contributes to MCC's mission to reduce poverty through sustainable and inclusive economic growth. MCC will use the advice, recommendations, and guidance from the EAC to inform threshold program, compact, and concurrent regional compact development, implementation, and results measurement procedures; and assess future policy innovations and methodologies at MCC. The MCC Vice President of the Department of Policy and Evaluation affirms that the EAC is necessary and in the public interest. The EAC is seeking members to comprise a diverse group of recognized thought leaders and experts representing academic institutions, think tanks, donor organizations, and development banks. Millennium Challenge Corporation Selection Criteria and Methodology Report for Fiscal Year 2025
The Millennium Challenge Act of 2003, as amended, requires the Millennium Challenge Corporation to publish a report that identifies the criteria and methodology that MCC intends to use to determine which candidate countries may be eligible to be considered for assistance under the Millennium Challenge Act for fiscal year 2025. In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Economic Advisory Council was established as a discretionary advisory committee on October 5, 2018. Its charter was most recently renewed on September 30, 2022, for two additional years. The MCC Economic Advisory Council serves MCC solely in an advisory capacity and provides advice and guidance to MCC economists, evaluators, leadership of the Department of Policy and Evaluation, and senior MCC leadership regarding relevant trends in development economics, applied economic and evaluation methods, poverty analytics, as well as modeling, measuring, and evaluating development interventions. In doing so, the MCC Economic Advisory Council helps sharpen MCC's analytical methods and capacity in support of the agency's economic development goals. It also serves as a sounding board and reference group for assessing and advising on strategic policy innovations and methodological directions in MCC.

The Advisory Council serves MCC in an advisory capacity only and provides insight regarding innovations in relevant sectors including technology, agriculture, land management, infrastructure, environment, climate, blended finance, public finance, health, water and sanitation, energy, gender, and social inclusion; perceived risks and opportunities in MCC partner countries; and evolving approaches to working in developing country contexts. The Advisory Council provides a platform for systematic engagement with the private sector and contributes to MCC's missionto reduce poverty through sustainable, economic growth. MCC uses this advice, information, and recommendations to inform compact development and implementation, and broaden public and private sector partnerships for more impact and leverage. The MCC Vice President of the Department of Compact Operations affirms that the Advisory Council is necessary and in the public interest. The Advisory Council is seeking members representing a diverse group of private sector organizations with expertise in the aforementioned sectors particularly in the countries and regions where MCC operates.
