Privacy Act of 1974; Proposed Privacy Act System of Records
The General Services Administration (GSA) is providing notice of the designation of the FedBizOpps (FBO) (GSA/OAP-4) system as a system of records under the Privacy Act. The purpose of FedBizOpps is to collect, maintain, and disseminate information on Federal procurement solicitations to the public. The system also collects voluntary contact information (e-mail address) on individuals and company information on vendors who use FedBizOpps to find and respond to Federal business opportunities for their products and/or services. System information is used to administer and manage Federal buyer access, maintain interested vendor lists, and keep vendors informed of Federal solicitations of business interest.

Federal Acquisition Regulation; FAR Case 2005-007, Central Contractor Registration-Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Validation
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to include the process of validating a Central Contractor Registration (CCR) registrant's taxpayer identification number (TIN) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to improve the quality of data in the Federal procurement system. Additionally, the amendment removes outdated language requiring modifications of contracts prior to December 31, 2003, regarding CCR.

It consists of a summary of rules appearing in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-10 which amend the FAR. Federal Acquisition Regulation; Submission for OMB Review; Small Disadvantaged Business Procurement Credit Programs
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Secretariat has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension and revision of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning small business procurement credit programs. A request for public comments was published in the Federal Register at 71 FR 16563 on April 3, 2006. No comments were received. Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of thepublic burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
Public Buildings Service; Information Collection; Art-in-Architecture Program National Artist Registry
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the General Services Administration has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement regarding Art-in Architecture Program National Artist Registry. A request for public comments was published at 71 FR 10688, March 2, 2006. No comments were received. This OMB clearance expires on July 31, 2006. The Art-in-Architecture Program is the result of a policy decision made in January 1963 by GSA Administrator Bernard L. Boudin who had served on the Ad Hoc Committee on Federal Office Space in 1961-1962. The program has been modified over the years, most recently in 2000 when a renewed focus on commissioningworks of art that are an integral part of the building's architecture and adjacent landscape was instituted. The program continues to commission works of art from living American artists. One-half of one percent of the estimated construction cost of new or substantially renovated Federal buildings and U.S. courthouses is allocated for commissioning works of art. Privacy Act of 1974; Proposed Privacy Act System of Records
The General Services Administration (GSA) proposes to establish a Government-wide system of records subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a. The system of records, GSA SmartPay[reg] Purchase Charge Card Program (GSA/GOVT-6), will ensure that the Federal Purchase Charge Card Program, for which GSA has Government-wide responsibility, assembles and maintains information necessary for the efficient and cost effective operation, control, and management of commercial purchasing activities by Federal agencies. The system includes personal information of individuals to enhance the Federal Government's ability to monitor official purchases, payments, and expenses involving charge card transactions.

Taft Laboratory and the Alice Hamilton Laboratory buildings, into a single consolidated facility at a new location in Ohio.
