Appraisal Subcommittee; Appraiser Regulation
The ASC is adopting nonsubstantive amendments to its regulations. The amendments correct the street address for the ASC's office, which will be moved October 1, 2018, from 1401 H Street NW, Suite 760, Washington, DC 20005, to 1325 G Street NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20005.
Interagency Coordination of Formal Corrective Action by the Federal Bank Regulatory Agencies; Rescission of Policy Statement
The FFIEC is rescinding its policy statement titled ``Interagency Coordination of Formal Corrective Action by the Federal Bank Regulatory Agencies'' that was issued on February 20, 1997 (the ``1997 Policy Statement''). This action is being coordinated with the publication of a new policy statement in the Federal Register by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), which reflects the current practices of the federal banking agencies with respect to the coordination of formal enforcement actions against federally regulated financial institutions and institution-affiliated parties.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Information Collection; Submission for OMB Review
The ASC, as part of continuing efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public, and State and Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on a new proposed information collection as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The ASC is soliciting comment concerning its information collection titled ``Reporting information for the AMC Registry.''
Final Order Denying Temporary Waiver Relief
The Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) is issuing a final order denying temporary waiver relief pursuant to the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989, as amended. This order denies a request for temporary waiver relief received from TriStar Bank, notice of which was published in the Federal Register on March 9, 2018.

The Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) has received a request for a temporary waiver of appraiser certification or licensing requirements pursuant to the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act, and the rules promulgated thereunder. The ASC is requesting comment (including written data, views and arguments) on the received request.

The Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council is adopting revised ASC Policy Statements. The ASC Policy Statements provide guidance to ensure State appraiser certifying and licensing agencies comply with Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989, as amended, and the rules promulgated thereunder. The revised ASC Policy Statements supersede the current ASC Policy Statements.
