Notice is hereby given that the methodology proposed to be used in the 2012 Delaware River and Bay Integrated List Water Quality Assessment is available for review and comment.
Notice of Public Meeting
The DRBC will hold a public meeting via teleconference for the purposes of adopting its annual Capital and Current Expense Budgets for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012 and establishing a budget and finance committee. A public hearing on the fiscal year 2012 budgets was held previously, on March 2, 2011.
Amendments to the Water Quality Regulations, Water Code and Comprehensive Plan To Update Water Quality Criteria for Toxic Pollutants in the Delaware Estuary and Extend These Criteria to Delaware Bay
By Resolution No. 2010-13 on December 8, 2010, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC or ``Commission'') approved amendments to its Water Quality Regulations, Water Code and Comprehensive Plan to update the Commission's human health and aquatic life stream quality objectives (also called water quality criteria) for toxic pollutants in the Delaware Estuary (DRBC Water Quality Zones 2 through 5) and extended application of the criteria to Delaware Bay (DRBC Water Quality Zone 6).

By Resolution No. 2010-9 on September 15, 2010, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC or ``Commission'') approved amendments to its Administrative Manual, Part III, Basin RegulationsWater Supply Charges. Accordingly, the Commission's water charging rates for consumptive use and non-consumptive use, as codified, are hereby amended.
Proposed Amendments to the Water Quality Regulations, Water Code and Comprehensive Plan To Provide for Regulation of Natural Gas Development Projects
The Delaware River Basin Commission published in the Federal Register of January 4, 2011 a proposed rule containing tentative dates and locations for public hearings on proposed amendments to its Water Quality Regulations, Water Code and Comprehensive Plan relating to natural gas development projects. The public hearing dates have been changed and locations and times established, as set forth below.
Proposed Amendments to the Water Quality Regulations, Water Code and Comprehensive Plan To Provide for Regulation of Natural Gas Development Projects
The Delaware River Basin Commission (``Commission'') proposes to amend its Water Quality Regulations (``WQR''), Water Code and Comprehensive Plan by adding a new Article 7 to the WQR providing for the conservation and development of water resources of the Delaware River Basin during the implementation of natural gas development projects. This Article applies to all natural gas development projects involving siting, construction or use of production, exploratory or other wells in the Basin regardless of the target geologic formation, and to water withdrawals, well pad and related activities and wastewater disposal activities comprising part of, associated with or serving such projects.
