Request for Information Regarding Crib Bumpers
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (``CPSC'' or ``Commission'') is seeking information regarding the safety benefits of crib bumpers, whether safety hazards are associated with crib bumpers, existing safety standards that apply to crib bumpers, and potential performance requirements, testing, and other standards that may reduce the risk of injury, if any, associated with crib bumpers.
Proposed Extension of Approval of Information Collection; Comment Request-Standards for Full-Size Baby Cribs and Non-Full Size Baby Cribs; Compliance Form
As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (``CPSC'' or ``Commission'') requests comments on a proposed extension of approval of information collection requirements regarding a form that will be used to measure child care centers' compliance with the CPSC safety standards for full-size and non-full-size cribs (16 CFR parts 1219 and 1220). The Commission will consider all comments received in response to this notice before requesting an extension of this collection of information from the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'').
Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request-Safety Standard for Automatic Residential Garage Door Operators
In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA'') of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') announces that the Commission has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'') a request for extension of approval of a collection of information associated with the CPSC's Safety Standard for Automatic Residential Garage Door Operators (OMB No. 3041-0125). In the Federal Register of December 3, 2015 (80 FR 75664), the CPSC published a notice to announce the agency's intention to seek extension of approval of the collection of information. The Commission received no comments. Therefore, by publication of this notice, the Commission announces that CPSC has submitted to the OMB a request for extension of approval of that collection of information, without change.

As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (``CPSC'' or ``Commission'') requests comments on a proposed extension of approval of a collection of information under the requirements pertaining to third party conformity assessment bodies, approved previously under OMB Control No. 3041-0156. The Commission will consider all comments received in response to this notice before requesting an extension of this collection of information from the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'').

In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA'') of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') announces that the Commission has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'') a request for extension of approval of a collection of information relating to certain children's articles known as baby- bouncers and walker-jumpers, approved previously under OMB Control No. 3041-0019. In the Federal Register of October 26, 2015 (80 FR 65218), the CPSC published a notice to announce the agency's intention to seek extension of approval of the collection of information. The Commission received no comments. Therefore, by publication of this notice, the Commission announces that CPSC has submitted to the OMB a request for extension of approval of that collection of information, without change.
Commission Participation and Commission Employee Involvement in Voluntary Standards Activities
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') is issuing this final rule to amend the existing regulation on Commission participation and employee involvement in voluntary standards activities. Currently, Commission rules allow employees to participate in voluntary standard development groups on a non-voting basis and do not allow Commission employees to accept leadership positions in voluntary standard development groups. This final rule removes these restrictions and allows Commission employees to participate as voting members and to accept leadership positions in voluntary standard development groups, subject to prior approval by CPSC's Office of the Executive Director (``OEX'').

In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA'') of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') announces that the Commission has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'') a request for extension of approval of a collection of information for Third Party Testing of Children's Products, approved previously under OMB Control No. 3041-0159. In the Federal Register of November 16, 2015 (80 FR 70762), the CPSC published a notice to announce the agency's intention to seek extension of approval of the collection of information. The Commission received one comment, which is addressed in this notice. By publication of this notice, the Commission announces that CPSC has submitted to the OMB a request for extension of approval of that collection of information, without change.
Safety Standard for High Chairs; Correction
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') is correcting a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (``NPR'') that appeared in the Federal Register of November 9, 2015 (80 FR 69144). The document proposed a safety standard for high chairs. The Commission is correcting an error in the proposed regulatory text concerning rearward stability.
Amendment To Clarify When Component Part Testing Can Be Used and Which Textile Products Have Been Determined Not To Exceed the Allowable Lead Content Limits; Delay of Effective Date and Reopening of Comment Period
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (``Commission'' or ``CPSC'') published a direct final rule (``DFR'') and notice of proposed rulemaking (``NPR'') in the same issue of the Federal Register on October 14, 2015, clarifying when component part testing can be used and clarifying which textile products have been determined not to exceed the allowable lead content limits. Because the comment period deadline for the DFR was stated incorrectly on regulations.gov, the Commission is reopening the comment period to accept comments submitted by January 13, 2016, and is delaying the effective date of the DFR to February 12, 2016.
