Certain Multi-Stage Fuel Vapor Canister Systems and Activated Carbon Components Thereof; Institution of Investigation
Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on November 8, 2018, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Ingevity Corp. of North Charleston, South Carolina and Ingevity South Carolina, LLC of North Charleston, South Carolina. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain multi-stage fuel vapor canister systems and activated carbon components thereof by reason of infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. RE38,844 (``the '844 patent''). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainants request that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
Review and Reassessment of the Social Security Administration's (SSA) Representative Payee Selection and Replacement Policies
We are requesting information on the appropriateness of our order of preference lists for selecting representative payees (payees) and the effectiveness of our policy and operational procedures in determining when to change a payee. We are seeking this information to determine whether and how we should make any changes to our representative payee program to help ensure that we select suitable payees for our beneficiaries.
Allocation of Assets in Single-Employer Plans; Benefits Payable in Terminated Single-Employer Plans; Interest Assumptions for Valuing and Paying Benefits
This final rule amends the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's regulations on Benefits Payable in Terminated Single- Employer Plans and Allocation of Assets in Single-Employer Plans to prescribe interest assumptions under the benefit payments regulation for valuation dates in January 2019 and interest assumptions under the asset allocation regulation for valuation dates in the first quarter of 2019. The interest assumptions are used for valuing and paying benefits under terminating single-employer plans covered by the pension insurance system administered by PBGC.
