The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is considering terminating the waiver of the Nonmanufacturer Rule for Commercial Cooking Equipment based on our recent discovery of a small business manufacturer for this class of products. Terminating this waiver will require recipients of contracts set aside for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program to provide the products of small business manufacturers or processors on such contracts.

In accordance with the provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (``ERISA''), PBGC is now advising the public that the agency has approved the requested amendment.

The Federal Communications Commission, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork burden invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the following information collection(s), as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, Public Law 104-13. An agency may not conduct or sponsor a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid control number. No person shall be subject to any penalty for failing to comply with a collection of information subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) that does not display a valid control number. The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) have extended the due date by two weeks for public comments on their proposed rule that would amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement section 1432 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004. Title XIV of the Act, referred to as the Services Acquisition Reform Act of 2003 (SARA), amended section 8002(d) of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (FASA) to expressly authorize the use of time- and-materials (T&M) and labor-hour (LH) contracts for certain categories of commercial services under specified conditions.
