OSHA staff will review all comments
to the docket submitted in a timely
manner. After addressing the issues
raised by these comments, staff will
make a recommendation to the Assistant
Secretary of Labor for Occupational
Safety and Health on whether to grant
ITSNA’s application for expansion of
the scope of recognition. The Assistant
Secretary will make the final decision
on granting the application. In making
this decision, the Assistant Secretary
may undertake other proceedings
prescribed in Appendix A to 29 CFR
1910.7.
OSHA will publish a public notice of
the final decision in the Federal
Register.

(OWCP–17).’’ This comment request is
part of continuing Departmental efforts
to reduce paperwork and respondent
burden in accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995
(PRA).

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Office
of Workers’ Compensation Programs
(OWCP) administers the Federal
Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA)
and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’
Compensation Act (LHWCA). These acts
provide vocational rehabilitation
services to eligible workers with
disabilities. The FECA (5 U.S.C.
8111(b)) provides that OWCP may pay
an individual undergoing vocational
rehabilitation a maintenance allowance,
not to exceed $200 a month. The
LHWCA (33 U.S.C. 908(g)) provides that
person(s) undergoing such vocational
rehabilitation shall receive maintenance
allowances as additional compensation.
Form OWCP–17 is used to collect
information necessary to determine the
amount of any maintenance allowance
to be paid. This information collection
is currently approved for use through
February 28, 2025.
Interested parties are encouraged to
provide comments to the contact shown
in the ADDRESSES section. Written
comments will receive consideration,
and be summarized and included in the
request for OMB approval of the final
ICR. In order to help ensure appropriate
consideration, comments should
mention OMB Number 1240–0012.
Submitted comments will also be a
matter of public record for this ICR and
posted on the internet, without
redaction. The DOL encourages
commenters not to include personally
identifiable information, confidential
business data, or other sensitive
statements/information in any
comments.
The DOL is particularly interested in
comments that:
• Evaluate whether the proposed
collection of information is necessary
for the proper performance of the
functions of the agency, including
