Abstract of Information Available Based on the information available, associated funerary objects removed from Bennett Mound or Bennett Site (CA–SAC–16), Sacramento County, CA have been identified. On an unknown date, the associated funerary objects were likely removed by Jeremiah B. Lillard, based on handwriting found on item tags. On a date prior to 1965, Arthur Grutzmacher, a collector and dealer from Mukwonago, WI, obtained the associated funerary objects. Following his death in 1965, the associated funerary objects were bequeathed to the Mukwonago Community Library. The three associated funerary objects are one lot of shell beads, one lot of glass and stone beads, and one bone tube. The Commission scheduled the final phase of the investigations following notification of a preliminary determination by Commerce that imports of brass rod from India were subsidized within the meaning of section 703(b) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1671b(b)).
