This notice sets forth the
schedule and proposed agenda of a
forthcoming meeting of the ACVETEO.
The ACVETEO will discuss the DOL
core programs and services that assist
veterans seeking employment and raise
employer awareness as to the
advantages of hiring veterans. There
will be an opportunity for individuals or
organizations to address the committee.

The
ACVETEO is a Congressionally
mandated advisory committee
authorized under Title 38, U.S. Code,
section 4110 and subject to the Federal
Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. 10.
The ACVETEO is responsible for:
assessing employment and training
needs of veterans; determining the
extent to which the programs and
activities of the U.S. Department of
Labor meet these needs; assisting to
conduct outreach to employers seeking
to hire veterans; making
recommendations to the Secretary,
through the Assistant Secretary for
Veterans’ Employment and Training
Service, with respect to outreach
activities and employment and training
needs of veterans; and carrying out such
other activities necessary to make
required reports and recommendations.
The ACVETEO meets at least quarterly.

The purpose of the Board is to advise
the Secretary with respect to: (1) the Site
Exposure Matrices of the Department of
Labor (DOL); (2) medical guidance for
claims examiners for claims with the
EEOICPA program, with respect to the
weighing of the medical evidence of
claimants; (3) evidentiary requirements
for claims under Part B of EEOICPA
related to lung disease; (4) the work of
industrial hygienists and staff
physicians and consulting physicians of
the DOL and reports of such hygienists
and physicians to ensure quality,
objectivity, and consistency; (5) the
claims adjudication process generally,

radiogenic cancer cases under Part B of
the EEOICPA program.
Notice of solicitation for nominations
to serve on the Advisory Board was also

was 30 days from the date of
publication, or May 17, 2022. The
Secretary now extends the deadline for
nomination by an additional 10 days, to

Abstract: The National Personnel
Records Center (NPRC) of the National
Archives and Records Administration
(NARA) administers the Selective
Service System (SSS) records. The SSS
records contain both classification
records and registration cards of
registrants born before January 1, 1960.
When registrants or other authorized
individuals request information from or
copies of SSS records they must provide
on forms or letters certain information
about the registrant and the nature of
the request. Requesters use NA Form
13172, Selective Service Record Request
to obtain information from SSS records
stored at NARA facilities.
