Background The Commission instituted this review on September 1, 2023 (88 FR 60486) and determined on December 5, 2023 that it would conduct an expedited review (89 FR 8441, February 7, 2024). The Commission made this determination pursuant to section 751(c) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(c)). It completed and filed its determination in this review on February 23, 2024. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 (19 U.S.C. 1337) in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain aerosol fire extinguishing technology, components thereof, and products containing same. The complaint names as respondents: Halma Plc of the United Kingdom; Halma Holdings LLC of Summit, NJ; FirePro Systems, Ltd. of Cyprus; and Hochicki America Corporation of Buena Park, CA. The complainant requests that the Commission issue a limited exclusion order, cease and desist orders, and impose a bond upon respondent alleged infringing articles during the 60day Presidential review period pursuant to 19 U.S.C. 1337(j). Proposed respondents, other interested parties, and members of the public are invited to file comments on any public interest issues raised by the complaint or § 210.8(b) filing.
