The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) publishes notice of certain Federal agency requests for records disposition authority (records schedules). We publish notice in the Federal Register and on regulations.gov for records schedules in which agencies propose to dispose of records they no longer need to conduct agency business. We invite public comments on such records schedules.

Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection; Comment Request
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is announcing an opportunity for the public to comment on CMS' intention to collect information from the public. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information (including each proposed extension or reinstatement of an existing collection of information) and to allow 60 days for public comment on the proposed action. Interested persons are invited to send comments regarding our burden estimates or any other aspect of this collection of information, including the necessity and utility of the proposed information collection for the proper performance of the agency's functions, the accuracy of the estimated burden, ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected, and the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology to minimize the information collection burden.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA, Agency, or we) is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the Agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of an existing collection of information, and to allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. This notice solicits comments on information collections associated with Shortages Data Collections and with notifications to FDA of an interruption or permanent discontinuance in manufacturing of certain medical devices as required by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act).

Notice is hereby given of the appointment of members of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Performance Review Board (PRB). The members of the PRB for the National Archives and Records Administration are: William J. Bosanko, Chief Operating Officer; Micah M. Cheatham, Chief of Management and Administration; and Valorie F. Findlater, Chief Human Capital Officer. These appointments supersede all previous appointments.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act, that the North Carolina Advisory Committee (Committee) to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will hold a public meeting via Zoom at 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Committee's new project on the Child Welfare System as part of the Proposal Stage of their project process.
