Law 94–409, that the Securities and
Exchange Commission Investor
Advisory Committee will hold a public
meeting on Thursday, September 21,
2023. The meeting will begin at 10:00
a.m. (ET) and will be open to the public.
PLACE: The meeting will be conducted
in-person at 100 F Street NE,

Multipurpose Room, and by remote
means. Members of the public may

I. Introduction
On July 21, 2023, the Municipal
Securities Rulemaking Board (‘‘MSRB’’
or ‘‘Board’’) filed with the Securities
and Exchange Commission (‘‘SEC’’ or
‘‘Commission’’), pursuant to Section
19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act
of 1934 (‘‘Act’’ or ‘‘Exchange Act’’) 1 and
Rule 19b–4 thereunder,2 a proposed rule
change to: (1) amend MSRB Rule G–3
(‘‘Rule G–3’’), on professional
qualification requirements, to (i) remove
the waiver provisions with respect to
municipal advisor representative and
municipal advisor principal
qualification requirements; (ii) establish
a new, criteria-based exemption to
permit certain individuals to requalify
as a municipal advisor representative
