The Charter School Programs (CSP) was originally authorized under Title V, Part B, Subpart 1, Sections 5201 through 5211 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965, as amended by the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001.
