Abstract: Section 509 of the
Rehabilitation Act of 1973
(Rehabilitation Act), as amended by the
title IV of Workforce Innovation and
Opportunity Act (WIOA) and its
implementing Federal Regulations at 34
CFR part 381, require the PAIR grantees
to submit an application to the RSA
Commissioner in order to receive
assistance under Section 509 of the
Rehabilitation Act. The Rehabilitation
Act requires that the application contain
Assurances to which the grantees must
comply. Section 509(f) of the
Rehabilitation Act specifies the
Assurances. All 57 PAIR grantees are
required to be part of the protection and
advocacy system in each State
established under the Developmental
Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights
Act of 2000 (42 U.S.C. 6041 et seq.).

Abstract: Surveys to be considered
under this generic will only include
those surveys that improve customer
service or collect feedback about a
service provided to individuals or
entities directly served by ED. The
results of these customer surveys will
help ED managers plan and implement
program improvements and other
customer satisfaction initiatives. Focus
groups that will be considered under the
generic clearance will assess customer
satisfaction with a direct service or will
be designed to inform a customer
satisfaction survey ED is considering.
Surveys that have the potential to
influence policy will not be considered
under this generic clearance.

will be held virtually for members of the

Committee Act requires that public
notice of these meetings be announced

Tentative Agenda: The meeting will

includes: roll call, remarks from the
Secretary, remarks from the SEAB chair,
discussion of workforce of the clean
energy economy, and public comments.
