SUMMARY: The Department of Labor (DOL) is submitting this Employee 
Benefits Security Administration (EBSA)-sponsored information 
collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) 
for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act 
of 1995 (PRA). Public comments on the ICR are invited.

DATES: The OMB will consider all written comments that the agency 
receives on or before January 19, 2023.

ADDRESSES: Written comments and recommendations for the proposed 
information collection should be sent within 30 days of publication of

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Regulations under 29 CFR 2570.150 set forth 
an administrative procedure for obtaining a determination by the 
Secretary of Labor as to whether a particular Multiple Employer Welfare 
Arrangement (MEWA) that is an employee welfare benefit plan is 
established or maintained under or pursuant to one or more collective 
bargaining agreements for purposes of section 3(40) of ERISA. To 
initiate adjudicatory proceedings, an entity is required to file a 
petition for a determination under Section 3(40) of ERISA with an 
Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). For additional substantive information 
about this ICR, see the related notice published in the Federal 
Register on July 22, 2022 (87 FR 43897).
    This information collection is subject to the PRA. A Federal agency 
generally cannot conduct or sponsor a collection of information, and 
the public is generally not required to respond to an information
