Needs and Uses: NIST MEP offers
technical and business solutions to
small- and medium-sized manufacturers
to improve their productivity, improve
profitability, and enhance their
economic competitiveness. This is a
major program which links all 50 states
and Puerto Rico and the manufacturers
through more than 350 affiliated MEP
Centers and Field Offices. NIST MEP
has many legislative and contractual
requirements for collecting data and
information from the MEP Centers. This
information is used for the following
purposes: (1) Program Accountability,
(2) Reports to Stakeholders, (3)
Continuous Improvement; and (4)
Identification of Distinctive Practices.
Affected Public: Private sector.
Frequency: Quarterly, Semi-Annually,
and Annually.
Respondent’s Obligation: Required to
obtain benefits.

to the Federal Advisory Committee Act,
as amended, 5 U.S.C. app., notice is
hereby given that the ISPAB will hold
an open meeting Wednesday, December
8, 2021 and Thursday, December 9,
2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.,
Eastern Time. All sessions will be open
to the public. The ISPAB is authorized
by 15 U.S.C. 278g–4, as amended, and
advises the National Institute of
Standards and Technology (NIST), the
Secretary of Homeland Security, and the
Director of the Office of Management
and Budget (OMB) on information
security and privacy issues pertaining to
Federal government information
systems, including through review of
proposed standards and guidelines
developed by NIST. Details regarding
the ISPAB’s activities are available at
https://csrc.nist.gov/projects/ispab.
The agenda is expected to include the
following items:
