The remaining $535,193 will paid into the DOI Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration Fund and earmarked for future natural resource restoration projects selected by the Trustees and implemented in the vicinity of the Site to compensate the public for the injury to natural resources. A restoration plan will be developed for public comment by the Trustees. The publication of this notice opens a period for public comment on the proposed Settlement Agreement.
