for listening. The Governing Board is
empowered to conduct the

business and accomplish meeting

AGENCY:
On March 16, 2020, we
published in the Federal Register a
notice inviting applications (NIA) for
the fiscal year (FY) 2020 Ready to Learn
Programming competition, Catalog of
Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)
number 84.295A. The NIA established a
deadline date of April 6, 2020 for the
notice of intent to apply and of May 15,
2020 for the transmittal of applications.
This notice extends the deadline date
for the notice of intent to apply until
May 15, 2020, the deadline for the
transmittal of applications until June 15,
2020, and the deadline for
intergovernmental review until August
14, 2020.

On March
16, 2020, we published the NIA for the
FY 2020 Ready to Learn Programming

application deadline date for this

An eligible applicant for the Ready to
Learn Programming competition is a
public telecommunications entity as
defined in the NIA. Additional
eligibility requirements are also
included in the NIA.
Note: All information in the NIA remains
the same, except for the deadline date for the
transmittal of applications, the deadline for
the notice of intent to apply, and the
deadline for intergovernmental review. The
NIA can be found at: www.govinfo.gov/

has relaxed the requirement for applicants to
have an active registration in the System for
Award Management (SAM) in order to apply
for funding during the COVID–19 pandemic.

Support Desk, toll-free, at 1–800–518–4726,
in order to take advantage of this flexibility.
