the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for review and approval for
continued use, without change, in

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This ICR
seeks to extend PRA authority for the
Plan Asset Transactions Determined by
In-House Asset Managers under
Prohibited Transaction Class Exemption
96–23 (PTE 96–23) information
collection. PTE 96–23, a class
exemption, permits various transactions
involving employee benefit plans whose
assets are managed by in-house asset
managers (INHAMs), provided the
conditions of the exemption are met.
The Department submitted the ICR
included in the Proposed Amendment
to PTE 96–23 for Plan Asset
Transactions Determined by In-House
Asset Managers to OMB for review and
clearance at the time the Notice of the
proposed exemption was published in
the Federal Register (June 14, 2010, 75
FR 33642). OMB approved the
amendment under OMB control number
1210–0145.
OMB authorization for an ICR cannot
be for more than three (3) years without
renewal and the current approval for
this collection will expire on November
30, 2019. The DOL seeks to extend PRA
authorization for this information
collection for three (3) more years,
without any change to existing
