SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This ICR seeks PRA authority for the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessments (RESEA) Implementation Study information collection. The Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) of the U.S. Department of Labor will conduct a three-year evaluation to develop strategies to support the evidence requirements for the RESEA program that were enacted as part of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115 123. As part of the RESEA Implementation study, this submission seeks clearance for three data collection activities: (1) Key informant interviews during site visits; (2) telephone interviews with workforce agencies; and (3) a web-based survey of all states and territories operating RESEA programs. This proposed information collection is subject to the PRA. A Federal agency generally cannot conduct or sponsor a collection of information, and the public is generally not required to respond to an information collection, unless the OMB, under the PRA, approves it and displays a currently valid OMB Control Number. In addition, notwithstanding any other provisions of law, no person shall generally be subject to penalty for failing to comply with a collection of information if the collection of information does not display a valid Control Number.
