The Commission, pursuant to section
751(c) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(c)),
instituted this review on September 4,
2018 (83 FR 44900) and determined on
December 10, 2018 that it would
conduct a full review (83 FR 65361,
December 20, 2018). Notice of the
scheduling of the Commission’s full
review and of a public hearing to be
held in connection therewith was given
by posting copies of the notice in the
Office of the Secretary, U.S.
International Trade Commission,
Washington, DC, and by publishing the
notice in the Federal Register on April
22, 2019 (84 FR 16694). The hearing was
held in Washington, DC, on July 30,
2019 and all persons who requested the
opportunity were permitted to appear in
person or by counsel.
The Commission made this
determination pursuant to section
751(c) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(c)). It
completed and filed its determination in
this review on September 30, 2019. The

complaint was filed with the U.S.
International Trade Commission on
August 16, 2019, under section 337 of
the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on
behalf of GCI Outdoor, Inc. of
Higganum, Connecticut. An amended
complaint was filed on August 29, 2019.
The amended complaint alleges
violations of section 337 based upon the
importation into the United States, the
sale for importation, and the sale within
the United States after importation of
certain collapsible and portable
furniture by reason of infringement of
certain claims of U.S. Patent No.
9,282,824 (‘‘the ’824 patent’’) and U.S.
