and to support development of a
defense industrial base information
system as required by Section 722 of the
1992 Defense Production Act, as
amended, and Section 802 of Executive
Order 12919.

information. This helps the Department
assess the impact of its information

Subpart 2, Section 402G of the Higher
Education Act of 1965, as amended
(HEA). which requires the collection of
specific information and data necessary
for applicants to receive an initial
competitive grant and a non-competing
grant for the second year.
