ACTION: License amendment request;

AGENCY:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) received and is
considering approval of one amendment
request. The amendment request is for
Southern California Edison Company,
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station,
Units 1, 2, and 3 (SONGS). This
amendment request contains sensitive
unclassified non-safeguards information
(SUNSI) and safeguards information
(SGI). The proposed amendment would
revise the Physical Security Plan,
Training and Qualification Plan, and
Safeguards Contingency Plan and
remove the Cyber Security requirements
from the Facility Operating Licenses at
SONGS to reflect the permanently
shutdown and defueled status of the
facility. For this amendment request, the
NRC proposes to determine that it
involves no significant hazards
consideration. Because the amendment
request contains sensitive unclassified
non-safeguards information (SUNSI)
and safeguards information (SGI) an
order imposes procedures to obtain
access to SUNSI and SGI for contention
preparation.
