Department of Education (ED), in

information. This helps the Department
assess the impact of its information

Abstract: The Department of
Education, Office of Postsecondary
Education, manages the Alaska Native
and Native Hawaiian-Serving
Institutions (ANNH) program, which
provides grant funds to eligible
institutions that have either a
population of 20% Alaska Native
students or 10% Native Hawaiian
students. The grant program is
competitive and requires applicants to
submit an application for review. This
is a revision request due to evidencebased competitive preference priorities
that have become an integral part of the
competition process. Responding to
these priorities requires additional
burden hours to be placed upon the
applicant.
