When the Department added the requirement for institutions to post campus banking agreement contracts and contract data to their Web sites, consumer advocates requested that a central repository for PO 00000 Frm 00029 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 these Web addresses be made publicly available for research and comparison purposes. This database will allow interested parties, such as students, families, press, institutions, and researchers to easily access and compare banking agreements available at different institutions.
