There will be presentations and discussion about how NIST achieves balance between core intramural research and extramural and convening activities in its Laboratory Programs. NIST’s role in the Administration’s National Strategic Computing Initiative will also be discussed. The agenda may change to accommodate Committee business. Individuals and representatives of organizations who would like to offer comments and suggestions related to the Committee’s affairs are invited to request a place on the agenda. SUMMARY: The Visiting Committee on Advanced Technology (VCAT or
