The Assistant Secretary will make the
final decision on granting the
application. In making this decision, the
Assistant Secretary may undertake other
proceedings prescribed in Appendix A
to 29 CFR 1910.7. OSHA will publish a
public notice of its final decision in the
Federal Register.

The Longshoring and Shipyard
workgroups will meet from 9 a.m. until
approximately 5 p.m. on February 24,

discuss housekeeping and sanitation in
the fishing industry and in shipyard
employment; spray painting in
shipyards; baggage handling in cruise
terminal operations; and the translation
of OSHA maritime guidance documents
into Spanish.

the U.S. Department of Labor, Frances
