This protection encompasses basic respect for persons, beneficence, and justice in the selection of subjects.’’ To ensure that all non-DoDEA sponsored research conducted in the DoDEA school system aligns with these directives, DoDEA created the DoDEA AI 2071.3-Form 1, ‘‘Research Study Request’’ that collects information that is necessary to review the proposed research study. Abstract: The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) is an international assessment of 15-year-olds’ knowledge, skills, and competencies primarily in three subject areas: science, reading, and mathematics literacy. PISA was first administered in 2000 and is conducted every three years. The sixth cycle of PISA, in 2015, will be administered in approximately 70 countries and jurisdictions. The United States has participated in all of the previous cycles and will participate in 2015 in order to track trends and to compare the performance of U.S. students with that in other education systems. As in 2006, in PISA 2015, science will be the major subject domain.
