SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
Department of Education (ED), in
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA) (44 U.S.C.
3506(c)(2)(A)), provides the general
public and Federal agencies with an
opportunity to comment on proposed,
revised, and continuing collections of
information. This helps the Department
assess the impact of its information
collection requirements and minimize
the public’s reporting burden. It also

Abstract: The application is needed to
conduct a national competition under
the Student Support Services Program
for program years 2014–2015. The
program provides grants to institutions
of higher education and combinations of
institutions of higher education for
projects designed to increase the
retention and graduation rates of eligible
students; increase the transfer rate of
eligible students from two-year to fouryear institutions; and foster an
institutional climate supportive of the
success of low-income and first
generation students and individuals
with disabilities through the provision
of support services.

SUMMARY:
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Purpose of the Board: To make
recommendations to the Assistant
Secretary for the Office of Energy
Efficiency and Renewable Energy
regarding goals and objectives,
programmatic and administrative
policies, and to otherwise carry out the
Board’s responsibilities as designated in
the State Energy Efficiency Programs
Improvement Act of 1990 (Pub. L. 101–
440).
Tentative Agenda: Receive STEAB
Task Force updates on action items and
next steps, review of the details and
discussion during the Small Business
Voucher Workshop from early October,
discuss potential engagement with EERE
staff during upcoming 2015 meetings of
STEAB, and receive updates on member
activities within their states.
Public Participation: The meeting is
open to the public. Written statements
may be filed with the Board either
before or after the meeting. Members of
the public who wish to make oral
statements pertaining to agenda items
should contact Julie Hughes at the
address or telephone number listed
above. Requests to make oral comments
must be received five days prior to the
meeting; reasonable provision will be
made to include requested topic(s) on
the agenda. The Chair of the Board is
empowered to conduct the meeting in a
fashion that will facilitate the orderly
