information collection.

information. This helps the Department
assess the impact of its information
collection requirements and minimize
the public’s reporting burden. It also
helps the public understand the
Department’s information collection
requirements and provide the requested
data in the desired format. ED is
soliciting comments on the proposed
information collection request (ICR) that
is described below. The Department of
Education is especially interested in
public comment addressing the
following issues: (1) Is this collection
necessary to the proper functions of the
Department; (2) will this information be
processed and used in a timely manner;
(3) is the estimate of burden accurate;
(4) how might the Department enhance
the quality, utility, and clarity of the
information to be collected; and (5) how
might the Department minimize the
burden of this collection on the
respondents, including through the use

Abstract: The Office of Special
Education Rehabilitative Services
(OSERS) Peer Reviewer Data Form is
used to support the peer review process
panel assignments and to update
individual peer reviewer personal
information in the OSERS Peer
Reviewer System (PRS) database. This
information is requested when an
individual is asked to serve as a peer
reviewer and/or updated biannually by
persons who previously served as peer
reviewers. The information is used by
OSERS staff and the peer review
contractor to identify potential
reviewers who would be appropriate to
review specific types of grant
applications for funding; provide
background information on each
potential reviewer; and provide
information on any reasonable
accommodations that might be required
by the individual.

I. Funding Opportunity Description
Purpose of Program: The UISFL
Program provides grants for planning,
developing, and carrying out programs
to strengthen and improve
undergraduate instruction in
international studies and foreign
languages in the United States.
Priorities: This notice contains two
competitive preference priorities and
two invitational priorities. Competitive
Preference Priority 1 is from the notice
of final priority for this program,
published elsewhere in this issue of the
Federal Register. Competitive
Preference Priority 2 is from 34 CFR
658.35(a).
Competitive Preference Priorities: For
FY 2014, these priorities are competitive
preference priorities. Under 34 CFR
75.105(c)(2)(i), we award an additional
three or five points depending on
whether and how an application meets
Competitive Preference Priority 1, and
we award an additional 5 points to an
application that meets Competitive
Preference Priority 2. These priorities
are:
