FRA assigned the petition Docket Number FRA–2014–0014. TSRR is a tourist railroad that operates between Rusk and Palestine, Texas, for 25 miles and at a track speed of 20 mph. TSRR owns and operates passenger equipment that is equipped with the UC and L types of brake valves. Specifically, TSRR requests relief from 49 CFR 232.17(b)(2) to extend the time interval from 1 year to 2 years to perform the clean, oil, test, and stencil inspection for the passenger equipment operated and equipped with UC and L types of brake valves.
