ACTION: Notice of public meetings. AGENCY: In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC), will meet as indicated below. DATES: The RAC will meet in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 28, 2014 for a one day meeting. New member orientation will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the BLM Idaho Falls Office, 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Following the orientation, the entire RAC will convene and elect a new chairman, vice chairman and secretary. After elections, the recreation RAC will assemble to discuss various fee proposals on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, which include several proposed fee increases from $5.00 to $10.00 per night at: Boundary Creek, Dagger Falls, Iron Bog, Park Creek, Phi Kappa, Starhope, Corn Creek, Spring Creek and Twin Creek Campgrounds in the Middle Fork, Lost River and North Fork Ranger Districts. A new $20.00 per use fee is being proposed for the Twin Creek Group Picnic Site in the North Fork Ranger District. The Challis-Yankee Fork Ranger District is also proposing a new fee of $5.00 per night at sites at the Custer #1 and Flat Rock Extension campgrounds.
