AGENCY:
BOEM has prepared a revised
environmental assessment (EA)
considering the environmental impacts
and socioeconomic effects of issuing a
lease in Official Protraction Diagram NG

SUMMARY:

offshore Florida. The proposed lease
would authorize technology testing
activities, including the installation,
operation, relocation, and
decommissioning of technology testing
facilities within the lease area, such as
deployment of technology
demonstration devices, single anchor
moorings, and mooring telemetry buoys.
As a result of the analysis in the revised
EA, BOEM issued a Finding of No
Significant Impact (FONSI). The FONSI
concluded that the environmental
impacts associated with the preferred
alternative would not significantly
impact the environment; therefore, the
preparation of an environmental impact
statement (EIS) is not required.
The purpose of this notice is to inform
the public of the availability of the EA
and FONSI, which can be accessed
