The RE&EEAC provides the Secretary of Commerce with consensus advice from the private sector on the development and administration of programs and policies to enhance the international competitiveness of the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency industries. The September 10, 2013 meeting of the RE&EEAC will consist of presentations from four subcommittee teams—Finance, U.S. Competitiveness, Trade Policy, and Trade Promotion—on each subcommittee’s work thus far, and, particularly, a presentation on potential topics for future recommendations. Additionally, the RE&EEAC will receive presentations from representatives from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Export-Import Bank of the United States on the financing for RE&EE exports. A limited amount of time, from 3:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m., will be available for pertinent brief oral comments from members of the public attending the meeting. To accommodate as many speakers as possible, the time for public comments will be limited to five minutes per person. ACTION: Notice. AGENCY: Mission Description United States Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will lead a seniorexecutive Business Development Mission to Mexico from November 18– 23, 2013. This business development mission will promote U.S. exports to Mexico by helping export-ready U.S. companies launch or increase their business in a number of key industry sectors including: Advanced manufacturing, information and communications technology (ICT) goods and services, and health IT goods and services and medical devices. The mission will make stops in Mexico City and Monterrey. Participating firms will gain market information, make business and government contacts, solidify business strategies, and/or advance specific projects. In each of these targeted sectors, participating U.S. companies will meet with prescreened local partners, agents, distributors, representatives, and licensees.
