AGENCY:
On July 5, 2012 (77 FR
39745), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC or the Commission)
issued Draft Regulatory Guide, DG–
1282, ‘‘Fuel Oil Systems for Emergency
Power Supplies,’’ in the Federal
Register for a 60 day public comment
period. The NRC is extending the public
comment period for DG–1282 from
August 31, 2012 to September 28, 2012.
This guide describes a method that the
NRC staff considers acceptable for use
in complying with the Commission’s
