The system provides two-factor authentication, using either a Common Access Card (CAC) and personal identification number or a unique logon identification and password. Passwords must currently be renewed every sixty (60) days. Authorized personnel must have appropriate Information Assurance training, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act training, and Privacy Act of 1974 training.
