SUMMARY: In response to requests from interested parties, the Mine 
Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is extending the comment period 
on the proposed rule addressing Lowering Miners' Exposure to Respirable 
Coal Mine Dust, Including Continuous Personal Dust Monitors. This 
extension gives commenters additional time to review and comment on the 
proposed rule. The proposal was published on October 19, 2010 (75 FR
