(‘‘the Act’’), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (‘‘ASME’’) has filed written notifications simultaneously with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing additions or changes to its standards development activities. The notifications were filed for the purpose of extending the Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified circumstances. Specifically, since June 24, 2010, ASME has published five new standards, initiated seven new standards activities, and withdrawn three standards within the general nature and scope of ASME’s standards development activities, as specified in its original notification. The Act requires the Commission publish notice of any amendments issued, or proposed to be issued and grants the Commission the authority to issue and make immediately effective any amendment to an operating license upon a determination by the Commission that such amendment involves no significant hazards consideration, notwithstanding the pendency before the Commission of a request for a hearing from any person. This biweekly notice includes all notices of amendments issued, or proposed to be issued from October 21, 2010 to November 3, 2010.
