A feasibility test of the methodology was conducted successfully in 2009. In 2011, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) will conduct a large scale pilot test to further refine the methodology. A number of interventions to improve response rates and data quality will be tested in 2011. In 2012, NCES will conduct the first full-scale production data collection utilizing the new design.
