to: Enhance teacher knowledge and use
of research-based adult education
mathematics standards; increase and
deepen mathematics content knowledge
among teacher participants; increase the
repertoire of instructional skills among
teachers working with adults in preGED (levels 3 and 4 of six levels)
classes; and increase state capacity to
support teachers in the area of
mathematics instruction.
